Do you require a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) per style?
Most Chinese factories don’t accept small orders, but because of our longstanding relationships with our manufacturing partners we can offer smaller MOQs to our clients. We can produce as few as 200/300 pieces per style. Please let us know your needs and we can arrange for the most appropriate solutions.
How many styles/designs do I need?
We can do as few as three or four styles with MOQ above 200-300 pieces per style.
Can Apparel Network do large scale production?
Yes, we specialize in large scale production (6000+ pieces per style), in fact the larger quantity productions permit us to be even more competitive on the quotations.
Can Apparel Network do my sample collections?
Yes, we can do your sample collections! Doing both your sample and production runs with Apparel Network will generally work out to be much cheaper than having your samples made in the United States or Europe. It is easier to produce the final product directly at the factory, where the bulk production will take place. Let us do both your sampling and production in our partner factories.
Can Apparel Network help with my pattern making?
Yes, as long as you complete design specifications and the technical report sheets, we can help with the pattern making and every other aspect of the production – right up to having the finished products packaged and delivered.
Can Apparel Network source my fabrics?
Absolutely. If you provide us with a physical sample (or a sample image for reference) our staff can source your fabrics in China through our enormous range of fabric suppliers. You can also create your own custom prints or arrange to have fabrics specifically produced using international Pantone colors instructions.
What is Apparel Network’s turnaround time?
Starting from our first briefing we can arrange proto-samples in as little as 15 days. We begin by delivering and reviewing the technical report sheets and material instructions to our Chinese partners, and then arrange for any adjustments to the proto-samples. Production lead time generally varies from 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the selection of fabric and the complexity of the design. If you have Apparel Network produce your salesman’s samples collection before proceeding with the bulk production, then lead time for the production is 4 to 5 weeks for the collection realization after we have supplied and amended the proto-samples.
Does Apparel Network quote shipping costs as FOB or CIF?
Both. If you have a relationship with a freight company we can quote your costs FOB. If you would like to use our freight network, we can provide a quote for products delivered to your door or any destination of your preference.
What are Apparel Network’s payment terms and conditions?
We generally require a 30% deposit to commence production with the 70% balance paid at the time we release goods for shipping. We can also accept 100% payment by irrevocable letter of credit issued by your bank (LC at Sight or 30 days).
I’m a start-up designer and I want produce my first collection, can Apparel Network help?

How much does it cost to produce a salesman’s sample collection?
A general rule of thumb is to expect each sample to cost about 200% more than the actual cost of the production per style. This is an industry-standard rule to let our manufacturers cover the extra costs which they undergo during the realization of the collections.
Can Apparel Network ensure that my productions will be thoroughly inspected before leaving China and guarantee that the quality of the goods will be up to our standards?
Absolutely! We have permanent staff in China that follows every stage of the production, and we arrange detailed inspections on all the runs right before your goods are loaded onto the shipping containers.
