Born and raised in Rome, the girls moved to New York in the late 1990’s. This experience proved to be one of the more influential experiences in both their lives. The American Dream and its culture of entrepreneurship inspired both Francesca and Viola to dream big and create a future for themselves through hard work and perseverance.
After their American experience, the family moved to Lebanon. Viola then went on to live in Tunisia while Francesca moved to China. This exposure to many different cultures, and the Vitiello sisters’ desire to work and collaborate across different societies, set the stage for the creation of Apparel Network.
Viola’s experiences in Tunisia provided her with the knowledge required to manage a business efficiently. Working in a fast-paced (and sometimes chaotic) environment allowed her to acquire the skills that distinguish a good manager from an excellent one, as Viola has proven herself to be.
Francesca’s move to China allowed her to become acquainted with Chinese culture while establishing the necessary relationships with future manufacturing partners. These relationships have only solidified over the years, creating a solid foundation for business collaboration – a collaboration that has been profitable for all parties throughout a decade-long partnership.
Eventually Viola and Francesca realized the potential that could be unleashed from their joining forces and formed Apparel Network. The company has been a profitable and solid partner for all of its clients from the outset. Due in part to its stellar success in the Italian fashion industry, Apparel Network has decided to expand and extend its services to the U.S. market. The company has the necessary experience and resources to successfully assist U.S.-based clients wishing to manufacture their apparel in China.
